Anke and John visited us in Portland again last weekend, much to our collective delight. Charlie and John fell right back into step -- the little guy just adores his grandpa.

Our friend Jeremy -- who recently earned his pilot's license -- flew down to Portland to see us last weekend and gave Toby a thrilling shot at flying the plane.

Toby's buddy Sander Lien traveled to Portland this month with his mom, Becky, for a fabulous weekend of bed-jumping and Tonka contruction work.

Toby has a brand-new, beautiful friend named Lucy, whose mom scooped her up and brought her home from China in June.
